its global chief operating officer, the publishing company announced Thursday . Clark, who will be based primarily in London, joins Round Hill from over 20 years at Warner Chappell Music, where he most recently served as executive vp global operations. His appointment is effective immediately.
An accomplished musician, Clark launched his career in the late '80s at sheet music company International Music Publications , where he worked as a music editor and eventually became head of production, copyright and licensing. He left IMP in 1998 for Warner Chappell, where his role as head of copyright extended to all copyright and royalty administration in Europe.
In addition to his executive roles, Clark has sat on the U.K. boards of the International Confederation of Music Publishers, the International Music Publishers Association and the Music Publishers Association. Last December, the latter organization honored him with the Tony Pool Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to administration in the music industry.
