POLICE and Tenaga Nasional Bhd today joined forces under Op Dadu Khas to cut power to 23 Penang business premises running illegal lottery and gambling operations.
“Some of them are shops selling provisions, mobile phones, mobile top-ups and second-hand items in the front, while gambling agents operated in the back to avoid detection,” said state police chief Sahabudin Abd Manan in a statement.
