Jeff Wilke, the head of Amazon's consumer business, plans to retire in early 2021. He is one of the company's top executives under Jeff Bezos.

Jeff Wilke, a close lieutenant and confidant of Amazon.com Inc. founder Jeff Bezos who helped build the company into a tech colossus, is retiring from the company. Mr. Wilke said he would step down next year in the first quarter and will be succeeded by world-wide operations chief David Clark.
