Nathan Carter has revealed his heartache for the music industry, saying he misses his “drug” - live music.
He released his brand new single this week, Sarah Jane, which sees him falling for a brunette beauty, fiddle player Sal Heneghan.“Any musicians I talk to are so down, I’m worried for the whole industry. I mean until there’s a vaccine, gigs can’t happen.“You go from having the crowd, loud music and lights, to literally doing nothing, it’s very weird.
“There’s normally 14 or 15 of the crew in the band travelling around with me, those lads in the meantime are now going to have to sign on or learn a trade which is really sad because they’ve all honed their skills over years and years whether you’re a sound man or a lorry driver. As to how the singer will survive the storm, he reveals he had a plan B early on in his career.
He said: “I’m really lucky that I got involved in property years ago, so I’m in the middle of doing up flats. He said: “Our producer and filmmaker Mick Bracken turned it around in a day, we got a really quiet day on Grafton Street for it, people walking by wearing masks.“We asked her to do the video and then she played the fiddle too, she’s only 20, she’s a young aspiring musician.
