ICYMI: Apple could extend its lead over rivals with its rumored blood oxygen detection feature

Apple was the leading smartwatch vendor by revenue, which grew 22% YoY — and extended the gap between itself and: During the first half of 2020 Apple's share of the smartwatch market grew 8 percentage points, from 43% in H1 2019 to 51% in H1 2020. On the other hand, Samsung's share of smartwatch shipment revenue fell 2 percentage points to 7.2% in H1 2020, making room for Garmin and Huawei to jump to the second and third spots, with 9.4% and 8.3% of the market, respectively.
