Several big companies, including McKinsey & Co. and Boston Consulting Group, had already pushed back the start dates for spring graduates who expected to begin full-time roles this summer. Many who had locked down summer 2020 job offers back in the fall of 2019 are still waiting to hear when they can report to work. PwC says some new employees may not start until November.

This is the natural state of things. A HS disploma was the ticket to succeed in the 1940s-70s. College degree was what you needed 1980-2000. Since then MBA is a must, nothing special. Do we all need doctorates in Acct, Finance, Comp Sci to be employable? Probably.

Want a job? Learn how to fix something with your hands. Like HVAC or electrical or plumbing. You can earn six figures and it’s recession proof. Plus you don’t come out in debt up to your eye.
