Richard Gelfond, IMAX CEO, discusses the premiere of 'Tenet,' which debuts in the U.S. this weekend. He says the release is 'encouraging' for the future of the movie theatre business.

Warner Brothers' "Tenet" brought in $53 million in 41 international markets its opening weekend, according to Comscore.

The film is now set to open in the United States this weekend. CEO of IMAX Richard Gelfond joins "Squawk Box" to discuss the premiere as well as what's next for the movie industry during the coronavirus pandemic.
