Walmart and Oak Street Health's joint clinics shed light on how both companies are preparing to meet rising demand for senior-focused care

primary care disruptor Oak Street Health to integrate the latter's clinics into three Walmart supercenters in Texas.Walmart has been wading into the retail clinic space for a few years, and has been aggressively expanding its primary care offerings during the pandemic. Oak Street's current network consists of 60 primary care centers focused on managing the health of Medicare-covered seniors—however, the new Walmart locations, scheduled to open this fall, will offer services to all ages.
