Paris-based firm issues bankruptcy notice against Rina Harun

Messrs Chellam Wong, the law firm which represents the production company Sarl Novovision, said a bankruptcy notice had been issued but has yet to be served on the Women, Family and Community Development Minister, who is also Titiwangsa MP.has attempted to contact Rina, her aides and her lawyer Mohd Irwan Mohd Mubarak, but has yet to receive a reply.

"We have informed her lawyers of the notice, but we have not served it on her personally," said Mark Ho, a lawyer from Messrs Chellam Wong, who is handling the case. According to Ho, Sarl Novovision is a producer and distributor of TV programmes fully based in Paris, France. The Lawyer for Sarl Novovision said that on Sept 9, Rina will face a judgement debtor summons hearing by the French company at the Kuala Lumpur Courts.
