Trials for one of the world’s most promising coronavirus vaccines, being developed by Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, has been suspended after a participant suffered and adverse reaction. Mr Bolt said while the sick participant doesn't mean the end of the vaccine, and that even if this vaccine doesn't work, there are eight others in phase-three trials. "But, on the other hand, this is a big warning," Mr Bolt said.
"Surely it's clear now we cannot bet everything on being saved within months by a medical miracle. "It would be a miracle, because no vaccine has yet been discovered for any coronavirus, and this one, even if it works, could work only partially like the flu vaccine. "So yes, go ahead, hope for the best, but plan for disappointment. Be more realistic. "Which means for us, ending this stupid fantasy that we can live like this until the vaccine does finally come.
