He said the value of commodity exports increased slightly by 4.3 per cent from RM61.05 billion recorded in the same period last year. “Although the value of exports had increased, the export quantity of agri-commodity products declined as exports of palm oil products decreased by 12.3 per cent to 12.1 million tonnes,” he said.

Mohd Khairuddin said during the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in March, the government had taken steps to support the commodity industry through the National Economic Recovery Plan and Prihatin Rakyat Economic Stimulus Package .
