PETALING JAYA: Former international Khalid Jamlus is adamant to get back on his feet.

In July, the mercurial player, who had suffered hardship, wanted to sell his prized Golden Boot which he won in 2002 for RM10,500.

However, Khalid, who is known for his hard work during his playing days, has refused to give up and is starting another business venture. “Now, I’m banking that my latest business will be successful. I’m now selling marinated goat meat called Khazat. I’m also selling energy drink and apparel which can be bought at www.monyok.com.”

Khalid donned the Harimau Malaya jersey 25 times and scored 10 goals from 1998 to 2005. At his peak, he even went on trials with Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt in 2002.
