I guess getting hit by a car would have been more humane than the 3 times my dog got a little “shock” during her 11 years. This is an insult to the millions of loving dog owners that can’t afford a $10,000 physical fence to keep their dogs safe.

Why .... they work very well. It is safer than a dog running off and getting hit by car etc..... once they are trained they never get the shock. The tone works fine.
If Petco knew shock collars were bad, they should not have sold them from the beginning.
