Prime Minister Scott Morrison says Queensland Deputy Premier Steven Miles should "grow up" following his "careless and juvenile remarks". "I think this guy has got to grow up," Mr Morrison said during a press conference in Brisbane on Sunday. "I really think he does".
It comes after Mr Miles accused Mr Morrison of taking a "week off" from running the country in order to campaign for the LNP in Queensland as the upcoming state election nears. "The defence of our country is a serious business," Mr Morrison said on Sunday. "Managing the Australian economy out of the worst recession, COVID recession, it is, since the Great Depression is serious. "And I think those sort of careless and juvenile remarks reflect terribly on him.
