Australian government aware of reports Chinese companies 'given notice' to stop importing coalInternational commodity news outlets reported on Monday that several Chinese power companies had been given an order to stop importing Australian coal, amid ongoing tensions. Diplomacy at its best when you have to learn about it from ‘media reports’. So stop importing tat from China. Aus should play hardball, since China has a record of not keeping promises- see US soy beans. Tell China that Aus will sell to other coal importers and that China won't have a seat at the table to buy coal when they need to. Fuck off, China.
