The largest vaccination campaign in the history of the US has begun, with Pfizer preparing to ship the first doses out Sunday morning.

The first doses could start going into American arms "as early as the end of next week," Perna told reporters at a Saturday morning press conference. But the end remains in the distant future, with the worst days of the pandemic likely still ahead.
