has again won the ‘Best Governor’ award for the year 2020, on Security and Humanitarian Services.
The Governor was represented at the event by his Special Adviser on Media, Public Enlightenment and Communications, Zailani Bappa at a ceremony which held at the LCCI Conference and Gardens, Alausa area of Ikeja, Lagos State. In his acceptance speech, Governor Matawalle sued for a collective approach in addressing the security challenges facing the country, especially the Northern region and advised leaders at levels to stop apportionig blames on one another .
Common now, let's be serious! Nobody should be receiving an award for security in Nigeria today especially Gov. Show me one spot in the entire country that's safe from the activities of criminals: kidnappers, highway/armed robbers even within neighbourhoods, cybercrime, name it!
