The Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation has committed R402m and raised R1.2bn for education and small business development through its partner entities since its inception in 2004, says its CEO.

Black Umbrellas, she said, had incubated 1,553 small businesses that have achieved R2.9bn in collective turnover, contributed R260m to tax revenue, and created and preserved almost 11,874 jobs.

Six new schools have been built, 97 schools renovated, and 258 classrooms, 44 ablution facilities, 30 computer laboratories, 27 administration facilities and 21 science laboratories built. The build programme has benefited 1,378 local businesses and created 7,441 temporary jobs. Thari, since its inception in 2017, has helped 579 children and 371 family members with psychosocial support services and reached 1,850 children through its Safe Park activities.

Small change! What happened to the 500billion Ramabillion. I think that's really where this donation comes from.

We want the list of those who benefited, and how does one qualify to be funded?

Bamthandani kodwa abelungu

This is how to do it. Awesome indeed 🤗🙌

In 2018 a child fell in a pit latrine in EC & died. Cyril said they will raise funds via golf tournament & proceeds will go towards building toilets in that school till vandag dololo. Instead in 2019 another child suffered the same fate. Akaxoki unendawo ezifuna ucengwa

Yes Ramaphosa is building a smart city with bullet train and creating million jobs in his speeches but in reality he retrenched workers before Christmas last year around about this time

This looks really impressive on paper. What I've come to learn about NGOs - not just this one - is to follow the money. Who funds them? What tax benefits do they get? Who earns salaries from them? Who are the suppliers? What links do these people have to power & tenders?

Proof is needed...

Money laundry scheme?

Haibo when did Cyril Ramaphosa foundation was established?yesterday This person is destroying the country he's taking us backwards bathulile I am sure he is surprised as usually wherever he is that he has foundation.

BiancavanWyk16 There is nothing wrong with Foundations, it is about time though our people are empowered (REAL jobs etc) to sustain their families & create their own wealth. This 'giving' parcels etc is disempowering our ppl, encourages mediocrity and the cycle of poverty is likely not to end.

Voetsek

BiancavanWyk16 But stole 2 trillion since 1994.
