US senators have been sworn in as jurors in Trump's impeachment trial

on January 6. The House transmitted the article of impeachment against Trump to the Senate on Monday evening.

Typically, a Senate trial kicks off quickly after articles of impeachment are submitted, but Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell reached a deal last week to delay the start of Trump's trial until the week of February 8. The Constitution stipulates that the chief justice of the Supreme Court presides over the impeachment trial of a US President. But it does not say who presides over the trial of a former president, andon Monday that the chamber's president pro tempore, Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy, will oversee Trump's second impeachment trial.

Pfizer will supply US with 200 million vaccines 2 months sooner - Business InsiderPfizer will supply the US with 200 million COVID-19 vaccine doses 2 months sooner than expected due to 'extra' doses extracted from vials Americans were calling it a hoax and didn’t want to wear masks...so why do they need vaccines now? Let's hope that we also have a sufficient number of the special syringes to extract the extra doses. The full vaccine supplychain needs to be reinforced. Question: What if the supply came 'pre-loaded' in a syringe? (skip the the little bottle and speed up the entire process?) Just an idea. The needle and syringe are disposable right...or could they be sterilized and 're-loaded'? (I have no idea).
