VC firm Sequoia issued a public statement saying it did not pressure Robinhood to stop trading GameStop

in the forum at the center of this storm, r/wallstreetbets from someone claiming to be a Robinhood employee. That person wrote that Robinhood's cofounder and co-CEO Vladimir Tenev received a call from both Sequoia and the White House telling Robinhood to block GameStop trades from the app. A Sequoia spokesperson declined further comment beyond the tweet saying this rumor was false.

Did anyone actually think Sequoia was involved? Not sure I've come across that accusation yet
