BREAKING: U.S. economy gains just 49,000 jobs in January as President Biden pushes for $1.9T relief package.

"We’re still in the dark days of winter with respect to the pandemic and the economy,” one economist said.

"The headline numbers fail to capture all of the distress," said Mark Hamrick, senior economic analyst at Bankrate."Just one example: Some 6 million are working part-time but want full-time work, while another 7 million are out of the labor force but want to work and aren’t counted as officially unemployed. I think we’re still in the dark days of winter with respect to the pandemic and the economy.

Economists and policymakers alike say American families and mom-and-pop businesses will need more support to survive until the spring. “The consumer is going to be spending when things open back up. We just have to get there,” Noftsinger said.

$1.9 Trillion seems like a lot, how much tax liability does that apply per citizen? How much of that tax liability does the citizen actually receive?

Yes thank you for opening restaurants . The hardest hit job loss and the lowest paying jobs .

Transition. Give it some time.

Morning_Joe He was in office for 10 days. Give it a rest

Morning_Joe Here’s what the left do, predict loss or gain of jobs high and low so which ever way it goes they can say well it’s better then we predicted, it didn’t work in Trump’s favor but with MSM it will in Biden’s

Morning_Joe They will blame Trump right? Not Biden for his executive order killing jobs

Republicons don't care because they assume you will vote for them regardless of how much they abuse you.

Well it could be a lot worse, like in November and December under Trump, when America was losing over 200,000 jobs a week.
