FedEx said it is working with authorities on Friday morning after a"tragic shooting" at one of its facilities just outside Indianapolis International Airport late Thursday night.

An Indianapolis police spokesperson confirmed multiple people had been shot, the Associated Press reported, but did not provide an exact number. However, the shooter was confirmed dead. FedEx said it was working with investigating authorities after a mass shooting at one of its facilities in Indianapolis, Indiana.The company added that it was gathering more information on the shooting and cooperating with law enforcement and other investigating authorities as the situation continued to unfold.
