The UFC star only launched Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey less than three years ago

Conor McGregor has sold a majority share of his whiskey company in a whopping deal said to be worth €500 million.But its success has prompted Proximo Spirits, a company that owns Jose Cuervo and other alcohol brands, to fork out the huge sum for a majority stake in the company.Crumlin man McGregor, who will retain an interest in the company, said: “I founded Proper No. Twelve less than three years ago and today it has become a shining star in the spirits industry.

The company is said to have sold over 6 million bottles across the world in its first two and a half years of business.
