Ash Barty calms her fans' nerves before setting out to regain the French Open title, enjoying a hit-out with world number two Naomi Osaka, with the Japanese player citing mental health concerns in her decision not to do interviews.

On Wednesday, for a handful of viewers, the sight of the world's top two players enjoying a two-hour practice session proved a tantalising treat.

Potentially great rivals for the future, both of them gave Paris a miss last year, with Osaka also opting not to travel to Europe after her victory in the preceding US Open. "We're often sat there and asked questions that we've been asked multiple times before, or asked questions that bring doubt into our minds, and I'm just not going to subject myself to people that doubt me."

Yep. Back in business. Good luck Ash Barty!..

Like to see the men pull out of all conferences and see how big the fines are! Women get it better then men in many ways for no reason. Rediculious to hear women carry on about how they are disadvantaged. They are like a protected species.
