The Nigerian Breweries Plc is training over 100 youths in Makera, Gwagwada and Kudenda districts of the Chikun and Kaduna South Local Government Areas of Kaduna State in skill acquisition.

The Kaduna Brewery Manager, NB PLC, Mr Osasu Oviawe, while speaking at the event in Kaduna on Monday, reiterated the company’s commitment to adding value to youths of its host communities across the state. The youths would receive a 10-week intensive training and skill acquisition in ICT, fashion design, mobile telephone repairs, catering, vulcanising, photography, amongst others while the company is registering no fewer than 50 indigent senior secondary school 3 students from host communities to write the 2021 NECO examinations.

According to Brewery Manager, the essence of the training and skill acquisition for the youths is to solidify the company’s commitment to its host communities. He also noted that over the years, the company had undertaken the renovation and building of schools in the northern part of the country.
