Fifteen are local cases in the community. Of them, three – out of ten linked cases – had been quarantined earlier. The three remaining cases are imported, of whom one is a Singaporean and another is a permanent resident who returned from India. The third imported case – a special pass holder who is a sea crew member – arrived from Brazil on a vessel and had remained on board until he was conveyed to a hospital.

The third case added to the cluster is her household contact – a 52-year-old male PR who works as a consultant at Syndicate Road and is fully vaccinated. The man is a family member and household contact of the second case in the cluster, a 12-year-old female PR who is a student at Tanglin Trust School.The cluster was first linked to a 74-year-old Singaporean man who works at a sundry store at the market. The fully-vaccinated man was confirmed to have COVID-19 on 9 June.
The fourth addition to the cluster is a 62-year-old Singaporean woman who works as a part-time cook at Marine Parade Central Market and Food Centre. As the fully vaccinated woman had been identified as a close contact of the 86-year-old woman, she was placed on quarantine on 19 June.With 28 more patients discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities on Tuesday, 62,098 cases – or 99.4 per cent of the total – have fully recovered from the infection.
