I would agree to a degree, as I have the symptoms that would allow that option of leave for me, on the other hand I push through it and crash at home. I feel awful, pain, aches, numb legs, nauseated, headaches. Others that don't feel it or understand get me through my day.

Was very common in Asia for women to have additional leave for periods, it was acknowledgement that they may need time off if they were feeling ill rather than discrimination forcing them out of the office
