PUTRAJAYA, June 28 — Now is not the right time for traders and industries to raise the prices of goods and services, said Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.
“The ministry is of the view that this is not the right time for traders and industries to increase the prices of their goods and services. Nanta said the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry was committed to ensuring the viability of the domestic economy in the face of the challenges brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, adding that the ministry was also responsible for protecting the rights and interests of consumers in creating a win-win situation for both parties.
