The Film Directors Association of Malaysia has asked Finas to submit proposals on relaxing SOPs for the industry.

Its president, Ahmad Ibrahim, said this would help restore the livelihoods of more than 10,000 creative people in the industry, including freelancers who do not have any income or Employees Provident Fund savings or the protection offered by the Social Security Organisation . Ahmad also said the health ministry must expedite a group immunisation programme for creative industry players as part of efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19.
