Niger Delta youths, under the aegis of Anioma Youths Forum Worldwide, has said there may be fresh agitation in the Niger Delta over the recent signing of the Petroleum Industry Bill into law

This is as the Defence Headquarters said the military was ready to forestall the breakdown of law and order in the region.

“If the generality of the Niger Delta is against the bill, I see no reason why our lawmakers did not stop it at the National Assembly. This is what we always got because when we ask for the constituency briefing, they don’t see it as anything but a waste of time. Asked if the military had plans to checkmate the treats issued by the repentant militants, he said, “The military is ready at all times to address the issue of security concerns. We have all it takes to ensure that the peace and stability enjoyed in the Niger Delta remains and keep everyone secured.

They nevertheless warned that the military would not allow anyone to interrupt the peace being enjoyed by the people of the region over the signing of the PIB into law by the President. Also, another senior officer, who equally spoke on condition of secrecy, said the military was always on the alert, warning that “anyone who wants to disrupt the peace and economic interest of the nation would not be spared.”

Why don't the people of Niger Delta go after those legislators from their respective constituencies that voted for the passage of the bill. They sold out the rights of their people to the north. They bought them for 10 million dollars.

Book Haram. Is every where...

After stealing the ppl they will use the military tu intimidate them ..

So the hostilities is about to begin. My question for the military is that, are you people sure of this move? Do you think you can succeed in this fight? Cos I think if the Oil producers says enough is enough then the contraption called Nigeria is trash, Oil money is gone..

The military knows it cannot open another theatre of war so this huffing and puffing is just a waste of time. ND agitation will never be solved by military might either, politicians should keep shortchanging their people and see if they won't become targets.

Only one thing can save the people of NigerDelta, BIAFRA! MBuhari gives 3% to the host community while Fulani terrorists from the Sahel receives 30% The other day, an Emir was crowned in Edo State. Emir & Oba in the same state? I want to ask, do we have Oba of Kano? WakeUp

Talking tough on Niger Delta youths is a good thing because that’s where the division of this zoo comes in

Double standard Don finish Nigerian Military.

GIVE THEM FRICKEN JOBS

I've never heard our army or any other sister agency talk tough on the evil Fulani herdsmen perpetrate on Nigerian citizens. I don't support any form of hostility from any region but it's high time this double standard stops, if not we're headed for doom, if not doomed already

The Nigerian military must stop threatening Eastern region and its people! We’ve heard and had enough!

This guys have been getting away with a lot of murders of innocent youths these past few years, this has emboldened them to think they can intimidate people anyhow. Military regime in disguise!
