U.S. stocks fell in early trading, pointing to an extension of recent losses on Wall Street as concerns regardingThe S&P 500 dropped 1.

6% Monday, after the broad stocks gauge posted its biggest two-week decline since February. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 1.6%, or 535 points, and the technology-focused Nasdaq Composite Index fell 1.9%.
