Whereas internships are stepping stones to employment, new forms of remote experiential learning are emerging which can serve as a jumping off point to internships. They’re designed to introduce students with no prior experience to the working world, while mentoring them at scale in a way one-on-one internship programs cannot.
“We believe that all students should have access to opportunities that could open up careers at their dream companies,” said Paragon One founder Matt Wilkerson. “By managing experiential learning programs for companies, we’re opening up the funnel, so more students can engage with Fortune 500 companies and more students get a shot.”
