Feels like an ongoing grudge against CA from the early pandemic era restrictions 🤷‍♀️

Obviously Musk doesn’t care about his employees.

Austin is not like Texas. The population is younger, better educated and liberal. Some of the current employees will move To Austin but no where else would n Texas.

Pass ... yuck Texas

California is too expensive for Tesla manufacturing . Alabama would be cheaper though

Until he gets his first electric bill from BILLY BOB electric Co.

One state allows shoplifting , homeless everywhere, criminals have more rights than law abiding citizens, high taxes that don’t help working families , anti business politicians, etc Where would you rather be ?

He's not really leaving CA

Considering the cost is the right logic behind every successful business calculation.

Maybe Elon can build them an electrical system that works.

Hmmm. Do Musk and his techie employees really want to live in a state that wants to ban abortion, allows open carry for anyone over 21, restricts mail voting, says businesses can’t demand vaccination information from their employees, and generally favors a MAGA agenda?

Good. There are too many people in the Bay Area. Tesla’s corporate office is barely a blip in the local economy and he pays little to no taxes. Texas can have him.

Texas after a snowstorm.

Moving to a state where Tesla can't sell their vehicles directly to the public and their electrical grid is in par with a 3rd world country.
