In Kuala Lumpur, some 41 business premises were ordered shut by Kuala Lumpur City Hall for various offences, including not adhering to Covid-19 SOP.

DBKL sealed one entertainment centre for operating without the authorities’ approval, while 40 others were ordered to close for employing foreign workers without valid documents. “Three compound notices were issued under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act to premises owners for failing to adhere to NRP SOP set by the Government.

“The premises was issued a compound of RM1,000 for throwing polystyrene boxes in the back alley of the shop.
