Saravanan encourages FT companies to give paid public holiday tomorrow

Human Resource Minister M. Saravanan says employers in the private sector should give their employees in the three federal territories a paid public holiday tomorrow. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, December 2, 2021.

EMPLOYERS in the private sector are encouraged to give a paid public holiday to their employees following the declaration of an additional public holiday throughout the federal territories tomorrow. Human Resource Minister M. Saravanan said the additional public holiday in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan is not a paid holiday under section 60D of the Employment Act 1955
