The Coca-Cola Company recalled Minute Maid products in eight states due to the potential presence of 'foreign matter'

was voluntary, says Coca-Cola spokesperson Ann L. Moore, and it applies to a limited quantity of refrigerated Minute Maid Berry Punch, Strawberry Lemonade, and Fruit Punch in 59 ounce cartons.

The recalled products were distributed in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Maine and New Jersey, according to the Food Safety News. The voluntary recall began on Nov. 10 in the affected stores, and it is nearly complete, according to Moore. However, the expiration date on the product extends to 2022, meaning people could still have it stored on their shelves.

Moore says the Food and Drug Administration registered the recall as a Class II incident, meaning exposure to the product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences. The risk of exposure to serious adverse health consequences is remote for Class II recalls, but consumers should exercise caution, says the FDA.

I don’t know about you but I love washers and bolts in my juice. They finally get something right and then they roll it back.

Sources say the products could have potentially contained real apples.
