Johor Baru North OCPD Asst Comm Rupeah Abd Wahid said all of the individuals were issued with a compound after a raid by the police on the location at about 12.45am on Saturday .
She added that there were 60 customers at the entertainment centre, comprising 39 men and 21 women aged between 19 and 64, who were partying. "The premise manager failed to produce a licence to operate, which is a clear violation of the movement control order. "All 60 customers, including the manager and three premise workers, were issued a RM1,000 compound each," she said in a statement here on Sunday .
She added that the compound was issued under Regulation 17 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Regulations 2021 for violating the SOP.The case is being investigated under Section 6 of the Johor Entertainment and Places of Entertainment Enactment.
