Police have identified the victim in a fatal attack at a Halifax business as Tony Nader, 55

Halifax Regional Police say a 25-year-old man faces a first-degree murder charge in connection with an attack at a downtown business that left one person dead and one injured.

Police responded to the 1500 block of Brunswick Street around 9:15 a.m. Thursday following a report that a suspect had entered a business and attacked two men before fleeing on foot. Police say a man attacked a staff member and that a 66-year-old patron was also injured when he tried to intervene.Police have identified the victim as 55-year-old Tony Nader.

In addition to the murder charge, police say Cymon Felix Cormier faces charges including assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
