With e-commerce’s accelerated growth during the pandemic, construction of warehouse and distribution space in D-FW is at record levels and is expected to grow in 2022.

“Office has not yet reached stabilization, which should likely come in 2022, but the pace of deterioration has slowed, offering hope for the future.” “Many Texas markets have seen impressive rebounds over the second and third quarters of 2021, but some business-dependent markets continue to lag,” said Source Strategies president Todd Walker. “Dallas-Fort Worth metro revenues will likely recover to 2019 levels in late 2022, but the addition of new supply continually through the pandemic will result in lower occupancies and revenue per available room throughout the year.
