Police spokesperson Brigadier Vish Naidoo said the 51-year-old male has been taken in for questioning."“I can indeed confirm that we have taken a 50 to 51-year-old man in for questioning with regards to the fire at Parliament today.”President Cyril Ramaphosa, flanked by Western Cape Premier Alan Winde and Public Works Minister Patricia De Lille, arrived at Parliament to inspect the damages.
Ramaphosa described as"devastating" the news of the fire, especially a day after Archbishop Desmond Tutu's funeral. The houses of parliament in Cape Town consist of three sections, with the newer additions constructed in the 1920s and 1980s. Inside the rooms, fine showers of grey ash fell from the ceiling to the floor, which was already littered littered with debris.
He wil b released soon. Wrong suspect. Jokes
Handed over to the Hawks? Well that's that settled then. Nothing to see here move along... 🤦🏻♂️
Another billion Rand tender scheme coming up for the cadres for the new year. Patricia going to pull another border fence spectacular.
SAPS security withdrawn from Parliament. No SAPS intelligence about or pre-emptive response to the KZN looting in July. Certain Minister has a 3hr long meeting with Zuma in Feb. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
It would be great to be so prompt, in catching passenger trains saboteurs, as well. Could it be it's because our parliamentary honchos and their families don't and won't ride trains.
Wrong suspect. It was Guy.
The suspect stayed? Really... 😂 Well... It's better because it's not like the police would've caught him.
RSA Government is full of games!!!
Hawks?! 😂😂😂😂 Ok...
