Grand Theft Auto maker buys FarmVille company in $12.7B deal | AP News

Take-Two Interactive, maker of Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, is buying Zynga, maker of FarmVille and Words With Friends, in a cash-and-stock deal with an enterprise value of about $12.7 billion. Take-Two said Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, it anticipates $100 million in annual cost savings.

The acquisition announced Monday would wed a powerhouse in console gaming, Take-Two, with a mobile gaming company with an almost cult-like following.

Really looking forward to the FarmVille mini games in GTAVI

Just to be clear, “cult-like following” does not mean “cult favorite.”

So comes the Trevor’s meth farm dlc.

I can’t wait to play Grand Theft Farming.
