When everyone stops blaming the other guy....and guarding their $$ and special interests..that’s when a solution happens. I’m not holding my breath. Greed and blame rule this country

If you don’t want to do your part for humanity why have the grotesque fortunes you have...the means to lead w/o greed?

Most corporations will wind up leaving. Result will be less tax money and more homeless than before. Why would a business stay?

I didn't realize this was an 'opinion' piece with a headline like 'well-earned.'

The tech billionaires, for the most part, are Liberal Democrats. It's their policies that create these problems San Francisco is facing. Now when faced with having to pay to fix the problems they divide and become defensive. The irony of it all.

Get ready for a giant sucking sound from the East as the 50% non displaced homeless migrate to well funded SF. After prop C people will be saying “$600 million and nothing to show for it”! Cities and counties must work together and develop a plan that crosses borders and works!

And one day they will die, that's100% sure. So greed, money that you will never spend, will cost you eternal life. Enjoy that money for a short time, before hell.

It's simple. It's called WalkAway When ppl get tired of immoral progressives running TheDemocrats then maybe we will have a two party govt again. However, if you demand Christian's support abortion, open borders, & allow Muslims to perform female genital mutilation. Forget it!

Billionaires are Poor too.!

Forum on NPR had a great showing this very subject.

Marc Benioff is stepping up as should others.

No no no

Democrat politicians make a mess than ask everyone else to cover their mismanagement and the bill.

Fuck the rich - take back our country from them, they are no smarter than us - they are just lucky. Don't kid yourself - it takes handwork to make the money and thousands to help them keep it.

San Francisco voters approve homeless tax on businessesThe city voted in favor of a tax on San Francisco's largest companies to pay for homelessness services, which was hotly debated by tech CEOs. Horrible horrendous garbage why help drug addicts Since they are so close to Hollywood- how about a tax on entertainers. Music, tv, movies. Couple percent from them and no more homeless!! Of course they did. Evil wealthy companies who create and supply jobs. Way to encourage industry to leave your sad, Socialist city.
