Android phone users urged to delete Authenticator app that steals bank details

Android smartphone users have been warned to check their phones for an app that can steal personal banking information.

The app is falsely advertised as helping to keep devices safe by adding extra security, but it can actually download vicious malware. Speaking about the app, software company Pradeo said: "Pradeo’s researchers discovered a malicious mobile application called 2FA Authenticator distributed on Google Play and installed by 10K+ users.
