Stock futures wavered and bond yields rose ahead of data expected to show another acceleration in inflation, which was already running at itsFutures for the S&P 500 edged down 0.

2% Thursday, a day after the benchmark index rose 1.5%. Contracts for the Nasdaq-100 slipped 0.4%, pointing to losses for technology stocks after the Nasdaq Composite Index rallied 2.1%. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up 0.1%.
