Today, she invests in ethically conscious ETFs including the Vanguard Ethically Conscious Australian Shares fund, the Betashares Climate Change Innovation fund and the Vanguard MSCI Index International Shares fund.“I try to ensure that I have a diverse portfolio and I do tend to look at how the stock has performed in the past and think about globally what’s going on in the world to see if the company is still relevant,” she says.

“Shaun and I have been putting money aside for a house deposit for a while now, and we’ve had big discussions about investing in property or shares and the benefits and disadvantages of both. “We’re still looking to buy, but we’ve also re-budgeted our finances so we can put more money into our share portfolios.”Hannah and Shaun’s investing journey is the latest in our Trader’s Tales, which appear exclusively in’s new weekly newsletter, Wealth Generation. Wealth Generation provides you with essential and understandable information if you’re hoping to become the next Warren Buffett, retire early to a tropical island or just live free of money stress.
