Considering the US does 100 times more stocking than we do I'm not sure we get to complain too much. Canadian boats have been catching salmon from American hatcheries for decades. The US contributed nearly 2b fish last year vs 2m from Canada

So alaskan fishers are catching fish in alaskan waters. Perhaps updating the treaty would help?
