In an interview with Hongkong media , Benz, 73, revealed that he has not recouped his initial investment in Bakeaholic's original Springleaf branch before opening the second outlet.“It doesn’t matter to us how much [Charmaine] makes. Most importantly, she’s working hard at the career that she’s chosen and towards her own achievements," said Benz, who is a Singaporean PR.
Charmaine, who was born in Singapore because of her Singaporean mum, added that the total amount that they have put into the business is “HK$6-7mil", which works out to be about S$1-1.2mil, and she and her dad have plans to open a third outlet selling specialty snacks. She started her home-based bakery when the pandemic disrupted her plans to enroll for her master’s degree in the UK.
As her online business flourished, Charmaine decided to open a physical store, which now has a loyal following.
She might be the next breadtalk
Money will flow out from the Wealthy, by charity or other ways .. however is a blessing for Reno contractors , landlord ,Bakery ingredients supplier to survive and pay workers , rent etc in this pandemic. So the economy go round and shared .
As long as Benz is happy to allow the burning, who cares? Having tried both her outlets my opinion on her success is bleak. 保重!
Lucky to have dad’s backing🙏
And the food quality and presentation are terribly sorry..
Graduate from hong kong Uni? Please dont bring street violence protest and petrobomb to here. Thanks.
