Royal AM moved to second spot on the DSTV Premiership after a 2-nil win over SuperSport United in Pretoria on Sunday afternoon.

This was Royal AM’s ninth win of the season, having collected 33 points.

The KwaZulu Natal-based side now trails log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by 15 points with a game in hand. The visitors showed their intentions very early when they took the lead in the opening minutes of the match through new signing Mxolisi Macuphu.But keeper Peter Nyame became an instant hero when he denied midfielder Jammie Webber from the spot-kick.Bafana Bafana forward Victor Letsoalo beat his national captain hands down to make it 2-nil from the spot.
