As the EV industry ramps up, it could be hindered by a global shortage of nickel, a key component in most lithium ion batteries

, the U.S. currently doesn't have any. So even if Tamarack is operational by its target date of 2026, that nickel still might get shipped around the world before ending up in American EVs.Before anything else, the Tamarack mine needs to go through the environmental review and permitting process. And there's no guarantee that this will be as quick and easy as Talon hopes.

"There are a lot of community meetings and a lot of public relations. But when the community has asked, What is the evidence? Where is your hydrology evidence of where the pollution would go....? They have received no information whatsoever."

Hey it's Andy. So apparently we need to get Canada on-board for making Nickel illegal to mine if we want to stop this electric car crap, right?

Fake news, Chinese are making the batteries, solar panels and fentanyl tell us the truth

Copper Cliff, in Sudbury, Ontario Canada. of course. 😁

TOTAL LIES! Nickel is being mined 12-hours a day by Child Slaves starting at 6-years old. CMON MAN TELL THE TRUTH!!!

The United States wants to divert attention with balloons and flying saucers. But US must face an impartial international investigation (its vassals cannot participate) for the criminal sabotage against the Nord Stream gas pipeline.-

Sodium ion is the future to reduce cost by 1/3 in comparison to lithium batteries .. less damage to environment too ..cost of ev will be affordable soon

You will not listen. EV buyers are liberal tree huggers. Elon was their God. Now he is a right wing troll. He completely alienated his EV base. There is absolutely nothing he can do to retract that

Which means we need another technology to overcome that particular problem? Or drop the idea of EV altogether?

As the EV industry ramps up, POTUS and ElonMusk (among many others) need to have a reckoning with the abuses detailed in this book, out in barely a month.

Lots in Sudbury!

Just wait till you hear where the Cobalt comes from…… it’s not good but it’s necessary to make car batteries

Ahh. So that's the reason for reparations

In other words... The switch to 'green energy' will hit more snags as it becomes required by law. This industry is not driven by genuine consumer demand, but by legal requirements. Translation- good luck owning an EV in the near future. Watch what happens to prices. ^^^

All the rare earth components of EV batteries would take decades to mine. What California's nonsense EV policies and commitments to ban gas engine cars will do to transportation is the same what their soft on crime policies have done to crime rates.

EVs would be nothing if it weren't for Govts. pushing manufacturers.

EV won’t be a majority for decades

I have like 20 nickels in my car alone. We’ll be fine

Follow me back I have something for y'all

Follow me back I have something for y'all

:))))

Russia is missign from the list

Show me the current CPI fed MrStockBot!

Now do which countries have the most propaganda

Lots of other ingredients that require mining and processing - so environmentally friendly.

li_cycle

And how much waste do they produce Now, do solar panels and wind turbines

Keep destroying the earth to build EVs

Which country…

Almost all metals in short supply…

what a day

Gas baby gas

There are no solutions, only trade-offs. 1000% increase in strip mining done in nations that aren’t friendly and have next to no labor / environmental laws.

Idk why they don't just use a dime or a penny instead? 😜🤥😆

The EV industry uses 2/3 LiFePo batteries, not Nickel based. Only long range vehicles need Nickel. Stationary storage and ~250 mile range vehicles are perfectly fine with LFP batteries, which are also cheaper, more durable, can be charged to 100% 6000+ times...etc...

Tesla should stop making those cars

😂😂😂 we’re soooooo smart

Oh really. But i thought EV’s were so easy to make to replace gas cars. Lets wait for woke scientist’s solutions. Lol

Nickel shortages? Oh, honey. They're on the lower-end of the scale for things they'll need to make the widespread, reliable use of EV's more than a highly liked Elon tweet or a feel-good political talking point.

Check in the couch cushions. 😜

How much nickel is in 5¢ pieces in circulation? Seems like a no brainer to get these back to the government to use where it’s needed.
