The latest one to jump on the popular genre is Ambitiouz Entertainment’s Sibu Nzuza, who released a single titled Mpulele featuring his stablemate, Lesotho-born rapper Malome Vector.
The song is about an absent boyfriend picking up signs that his girlfriend is losing interest in their relationship because of him not being around all the time. The only time he remembered he was in a relationship was when it was cold or when he was out of money. “This sound resembles the amapiano one, which is not Vector’s and my typical sound, but joining forces to explore it brought out the magic. People will dance to this song and relate to it as it’s quite a common scenario among modern-day couples.”The 30-year-old said being in the music industry came with a lot of pressure, but it was all worth it.
